Exploring the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia &
Falkland Islands

Antarctica and the Scotia Sea are among the last pristine destinations in the world. With its monumental icebergs coming in all shapes and sizes - some raising 10,000 feet above the sea, Antarctica is home to some of the Earth's most unique animal life such as Albatrosses with 10-13 foot wingspans, Crab eaters, Elephants, Fur Seals, Humpbacks, Leopards, Minkes, thousands of breeding Penguins, Weddells, and last but not least, magnificent Orca Whales. We visit this unique wildlife, devoid of human population, during the height of its summer season when the seagoing channels have opened to their greatest extent and wildlife is at its most prolific.

The M.S. Andrea was previously a Norwegian Coastal passenger vessel operating a year-round scheduled service to remote regions of the Norwegian Fjords and coastline with freezing temperatures and sea ice. She was specifically engineered to handle such a challenging route and is an outstandingly strong and remarkably swift ship. Keeping in mind the requirements of our discerning clients, we have matched her technical capabilities with an elegant 17th century Scandinavian furnishings for the added comfort.

(Times and landings on these expedition voyages are variable and may change according to weather conditions and the captain's judgment.)
